Wednesday Walks with Wendy and Cam – Johnston Preserve, Rte 82, Lyme

The 250-acre Johnston Preserve has fascinating geologic features, from deep hollows to ridges with dramatic outcroppings and ledges. The white trail gently climbs to breathtaking overlooks. The yellow trail traverses North Woods Hill, the highest point in Lyme. The walk is moderate with some inclines. About three miles.

Directions: From Hadlyme 4-Corners, follow Rte 82 east for 1.5 miles. The Johnston Preserve Parking Lot is on the right.
