Local geologist Ralph Lewis will lead a walk through Pleasant Valley Preserve to lecture on and point out some of the unique geological features in Lyme. Attendees will walk the preserve and discuss the scientific significance of the area. Bring good walking shoes and a bottle of water. Hats and bug spray are recommended.
Meet at the McIntosh Road parking area.
The walk is sponsored by the Lyme Public Library. Ralph Lewis is a retired CT State geologist.
