Sunday after Thanksgiving Hike – Hartman Park Heritage Trail

Join us for the annual post-Thanksgiving hike led by Wendy Hill, Lyme Land Trust Vice President and Lyme Open Space Coordinator. We will walk the Heritage Trail (orange) in Hartman Park, an easy to moderate hike with some uneven rocky footing and moderate inclines. Hartman Park is crisscrossed with ancient stone walls and other stone structures. The Heritage Trail visits several sites of remnants left behind by the people who once inhabited this land, including the mysterious Three Chimneys.
Snacks will be provided. We will have a snack break. Bring your own water or drink. The entire walk is about 3 miles. The walk time is approximate depending upon the group pace. Walking sticks are recommended.
Please register: openspace@townlyme.org
