Meet at pull-in parking lot\, Macintosh Rd\, Lyme\, about 1/4 mile west of the intersection of Macintosh road and Rte 156.\nRegister: anthonyinlyme@gmail.com\nCANCELLED due to illness – 1:30 to 3:30ish pm: Gillette’s Castle with Wendy Hill: From the Hadlyme Ferry parking lot\, we will walk a gentle climb along the walkway up to the Castle. At the top\, take in the vista from the terrace of the Castle\, and then follow the original train route\, including a very cool tunnel and round-about\, for Gillette’s small gauge railroad. Along the way\, note the unique geology and enjoy beautiful views of the Connecticut River unobstructed by leaves.
