Come learn about managing forest habitat for birds! A long-time resident of New England, Center Director of Audubon Sharon, and conservationist Eileen Fielding will share her passion for birds and other wildlife, and how we can manage and enhance woodland properties with birds in mind.Afterwards, forester Eric Hansen will lead a walk and offer tipson evaluating the health of woodlands and management techniques that can improve habitat.

This free event is part of a Bird Workshop Series offered by the Lyme Forest Block Conservation Project—an initiative launched by Audubon Connecticut, in partnership with the Town of Lyme and the Lyme Land Trust, the Eightmile River Wild and Scenic Coordinating Committee, The Nature Conservancy, and other local land trusts, and municipalities.
